The Sydney Olympic Games 2000

Our first commission specifically required the use of Quantum Leap staff on a full time
basis for the implementation and customisation of the Facilities Management and
Venue Planning software.

After only several months of work the completed CAD and Facilities management
documentation was presented to the Committee. This displayed the overall integration
of applications including Video, Audio and Relational Databases for Venue Planning
and Facilities Management. It was a resounding success.

Leading on from commission one, our second commission involved the space
management and asset tracking of over $90,000,000 worth of assets and more than
9000 spaces for the Olympic and Media Villages.

The Sydney Olympic Village is one of the largest cities in New South Wales. The city
was designed for 15 000 residents, 10 000 staff and 3 000 daily visiting guests.

Our role was to provide the ability to link CAD drawings to a database which then
provided all the necessary reports and drawings to move all Furniture, Fixtures and
Equipment (FF&E) as well as Technology into the correct spaces and positions within
the Village. Once these assets were placed they were required to be tracked by
Space, ownership and Functional area consisting of some 300 different combinations.

In total the project consisted of over 975 000 assets, more than 15 000 individual
spaces and almost 200 000 sqm (2 000 000 sq. ft)
